Using traditional painting methods, New Hope artist, Peter Hunt has a direct and spontaneous approach to painting. He has been honored with many awards; a Desi award for illustration and has twice won the "Traditional Landscape Award" at the Phillips Mill annual exhibits. He won the 2009 Lambertville Historical Society award in memory of Grace Croteau. His work has been selected for the following juried shows: The Philadelphia Sketch Club, Philadelphia, The Plastics Club, Philadelphia. Prallsville Mill Show, Stockton, NJ. Canal Frame Craft, Washington Crossing, Pa. Coryell Gallery, Lambertville, NJ . Phillips Mill, New Hope, Pa. Salmagundi, NYC. He is active in the Art community having been a juror for several Bucks County Open Art Shows and served on the Boardof Artsbridge and the Shad Committee.
Peter has participated widely in past Plein Air events: Telluride, Co., Wayne Plein Air Festival, Pa., and Havre de Grace, Md.
