Peter has received a Desi award for illustration and won the "Traditional Landscape Award" at the Phillips Mill 2004 and 2005 annual exhibits. Most recently he won the 2009 Lambertville Historical Society award in memory of Grace Croteau. Peter has participated in the Plein Air Festival at Telluride, Co. in 2008 and at Wayne Plein Air Festival, Pa. in 2009.
